I am not sure whether I want to write this one or not. I guess I better not. But, since when has it been for better of things?? No, never! huh! Always, for always, it has always been for what you want.. or in Jeff Buckley’s words.. Sometimes a man gets carried away!! Mr. Buckley.. not sometimes, I would say most of the times. People would never agree they think from heart.. no I don’t agree with you that you let your mind do the thing its meant for. God, in all his wisdom, gave you a heart to mess things up. So, its heart that does what mind is supposed to do. Think! Think for you… and man it thinks.. thinks like world was so simple. Well, if you ask me, I think mind was supposed to do things like what is it that you should write in the report that is due tomorrow morning. Hey, Mind, what do you think, is this the correct answer to this idiotically tough calculus problem?? Well Mr. Heart.. I know you never graduated from the school so please for god’s sake do not interfere.. Yeah Mr. Mind what was it that you were saying.. okay.. 24.. then 24 it is!! Hey buddy, what do you think?? Naah, I don’t think Mind can process it.. its better we leave him out of this, (well he did solve that calculus problem, right?). Heart: But, shudn’t you listen to him once?? may be he has some calculated response. You: Naah, what do you think?? Heart: hmm.. difficult one buddy, but I guess you shud do it..
I know whatever i wrote above seems like shit.. but, wish i could explain it to you. Guess, i wrote it from my heart. Yeah, heart makes you do things that you think(from your mind) is stupid.. but I guess that is what you wanted to do all along.. I know people have different views and may be when I wake up in the morning I may have exactly opposite views.. but that is how we live.. Confused and trying to find meaning in every small thing we do.. and in those small things trying to find our so called life.. and that is where it is.. Our life.. in small things.

Is there really so much difference between what we want from life and what we can get from it? It was so simple when we were kids. Everything seemed possible. Building castles in the air! And, then comes life. Or, so we say. We become practical. Are you kidding me? Are you crazy? That’s just not possible.
It all changes. We hit the wall of practicality and return back, return back to the same old life. Few of us get lucky and wander risking what we have to get what we want and even fewer get lucky and find what they were looking for. We try so hard to make our life better. Trying so hard to be happy. We convince our selves to be happy with what we have got. And guess what? We fail. Because that’s not what life is about. Its not about making compromises, well not always! You think that let me do this one time. I will keep what I want to do for later. Know what, you have this life to do what you want. Who knows what may happen tomorrow? You may never get a chance. Its time we stopped convincing ourselves that we are where were meant to be and strive for a place where we want to be. This is the lifetime you have to make your dreams happen. Yes, it happens here and it happens now. Its better to wander and get lost than to have not wandered at all. Well, the guy whom you see daily in the mirror deserves this, at least this one chance, doesn’t he?
chrome – takes lot of ram(ram usage decreases with the tabs.. i.e. ram usage per tab is less for higher no. of tabs)
firefox – m still luvin it..
IE 9 – still too heavy on ram..
though firefox was a bit lighter on ram but browsing speed was a lil better while using chrome..!!
m still gonna use firefox!!
You had a chance to live your life. You lived it the way you dreamed about it. You had the control of each and every aspect of your life. Creating things you like and changing the ones you didn’t. Pushing yourself to extremes to make it the best possible, near to perfect life that you can dream about( I say near to perfect as perfection is not the order of the universe and thus impossible to achieve, those who disagree – guys you have the comments area to go on with your views or well it could be that perfection is not the order of the living creatures). You put a lifetime in this so called life. And then you have the option of living the normal life, the one which we actually live. Which one would you choose? Or for that matter what makes life lively? Is it our imagination or the uncertainty?
Its not that you won’t have the conflicts of the daily life in this life of yours. As Inception goes, a shared dream will give people a degree of freedom or randomness with each person sharing the dream. Thus, creating the conflicts or in some cases chaos.. when too many people are involved. Well, with so many people involved won’t that add to the life a great deal of uncertainty? In such a case, how different would it be from the real world? Similar to the real world but with god like special abilities given to people. Abilities common to all, not so special anymore, huh? Even, I am unable to follow my train of thoughts. Maybe everything above is bullshit. Never mind, was just wondering, that’s all.
Maybe, its the very idea of the reality that it’s all about. Similar to some video game. You play, you create, you destroy and then you realize its all a game. Yeah, I had fun but it’s not real. Actually, just now I had this idea that I’m going to discuss now. How about sharing a dream with a baby. Someone, who has no grasp of reality. You teach him all, right from the beginning. With ample time to learn, won’t he would be better equipped to deal with life when he gets back to reality or would he totally lose the concept of reality? After completing a lifetime and coming back to the stage of being a baby again, not fit enough to do anything, will it leave him/her frustrated? At an age where he/she should be carefree, he/she would be burdened of the complexities of the life. Then again the question pops up, is the physical development of our mind needed to cope up with the mental development?(not sure what’s the answer to this question.)
Something similar to time travel. Quite difficult to assess and to comment, but, quite an intriguing idea. Isn’t it? Good one Mr. Nolan!
rain ruined what could have been a great day off.. yeah it did give some relief from the sweltering heat but still a day wasted.. you cannot go out, all you’ve got is your laptop and TV.. hell.. how much TV do they expect us to watch.. still, what could have been a complete rip off was saved at the end by the heroic action of Kumar Gaurav, who came to our rescue with a plate of hot and spicy pyaaj ka pakoda
those pakodes with mixed sauce.. awesome..
whats quite ironical is that during day when we could have gone out it was raining so heavily while at night when i am flat on my bed its all quiet!!
hope it continues to be quiet tomorrow..
